Ghanawa own Abattoir which is the largest and most modern slaughtering and meats processing plant in Africa and Arab region, it designed to export meats to middle east and African countries. The abattoir has been commissioned in December 1999, with a capital of thirteen million dollars, started commercially in 2000 and since its export market share has been steadily growing.

The abattoir capacity is 4,000 sheep heads and 750 cattle heads daily with the possibility of slaughtering process for goats and camels. The abattoir has a refrigerating store room with a capacity of 80 tons, beside it has a dry up and packaging unit.
